Biographical Notes
1927
Born near Peach Flower River in Yiyang County of Hunan Province.
1930
Imparted rudimentary Chinese characters and paintings by his grandfather, Hu Sangong, helped his mother to draw specimens of Xiang Embroidery and copied Jieziyuan Painting Models given by his father.(1930 -45)
1946
Attended Chinese Department of Private Nanjing Vocational School of Fine Art to learn painting, directed taught by the headmaster Gao Xishun, and had the chance to copy famous ancient and modern landscape.
1949
Arrived Taiwan with the army. Followed Huang Junbi to continue studying Chinese Landscape Painting.
